After years of teasing us with a US Tour, it’s finally happening. Get ready for Axl & the boys to hit the arenas in a handful of cities starting this fall. We’ll be at the IZOD center on November 17th, 2011, so get ready and come out and join us for some tailgating and a night of screaming & screeching from your favorite 80′s hair band (besides Bon Jovi of course). Head over to our Facebook page or view the event to let us know you’re be there.

As the summer of 2011 is halfway behind us already, we need to get out and get our tailgate fix on. Without our annual trips to wherever Dave Matthews Band is playing, we figured we could at least get to our local stadium and meet up with a few friends. As details emerge, we will update this post, but for now we are planning on getting together with a bunch of Jeepers from JKOwners.com & the Jersey Crew, as well as a couple newcomers to the group. Check out our Facebook event to let us know if you’ll be there, either with us or not!

As we’ve mentioned before, JustJeepGear.com along with SAH-Marketing participate in various charity walks & benefits throughout the year. We recently announced that we will be a sponsoring vendor at this year’s Toples for TATA’s Run @ Rausch Creek in August.
To help support the event, we are having special Pink Camo Girly T’s made up to be sold online as well as the day of the event. All net proceeds will be donated to Topless for TATA’s at the end of the day. Please help support this important cause by ordering a shirt today!
If you would like to order now and have the item shipped to you once we have received them, please do so on our site. We plan to have them in hand the first week of August, right before the event on August 6, 2011. The price will go up to $20 after the event.
Thanks!
Christian

Every now and then, we come across something that doesn’t really have much to do with anything, but I thought this video was pretty cool, so I passed it on. Enjoy!!
After website Main Street dubbed Grand Rapids, Michigan, a “dying city” (with the story published in Newsweek due to a content-sharing partnership), the citizens of Grand Rapids fought back with a massive, now-viral lip dub.
Main Street has since posted an explanation of its methodology — the site wasn’t slighting Grand Rapids’s swagger, simply pointing out population decline. But we’re happy that the city was able to channel its rage into something so inspired.
Director Rob Bliss managed to raise $40,000 to make the video, gathering together thousands of citizens to perform a one-take rendition of Don McLean’s “American Pie.” Roger Ebert even called it “the greatest music video ever made.”
What do you say? Do you think your town could stir up the pride to make such a video tribute?

Stacy and I headed down to our local ‘spot’ for their annual Memorial Day Beach Party. The Emerson Hotel did an awesome job putting together a great mix of food, drinks and had all of our favorite staff on hand to enjoy the day. House favorite, Members Only Band rocked the parking lot for 3+ hours while everyone enjoyed themselves, with drinks in hand. We took some cell phone vids and will have some pics uploaded shortly (below). Enjoy!

For those of you that don’t know me too well, you may not know the back-story into the last seven+ years of my life. Without all of the boring details, I’ll just say that my wife Stacy & I have been through more emotional times than we care to admit and have not successfully been able to have a baby. We have tried almost everything, come close a few times, but unfortunately, have been unsuccessful or lost the chances we had. That is why March of Dimes & March for Babies is so close to our hearts. With that said, don’t do it for us, do it because you believe in the cause and want to help others in our situation have a chance.
Thank you,
Christian & Stacy

My cousin’s band has made it to the final 5 bands in a contest on Z100! If they win, they get the chance to play with Justin Beiber, walk the red carpet and possibly a record deal…they need your vote!!! Please, please, please spread the word, they are sooo excited! My cousin is bass/vocals, Mark Braun.
To vote, click here: http://www.z100.com/pages/events/jingleball10/hometownhero.html
Once on the site, click on the Demand it! button for the band “Goodbye Friday”. You have to enter a couple of lines of info for your vote to count.

To say we had a great time at the show, would be, as they say, an understatement. Even a little rain & wind before-hand couldn’t deter the tailgate, and we all ‘got ready’ real good. The stage, the lighting, the sound and of course the performance, was awesome. Took a bunch of pics & vids, have a look below. Did you go to either show? Any show, let us know what you thought in the comments.

We’ll be catching the 2nd of two nights at IZOD, featuring “the Wall Live 2010″ by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame! Gonna try to hit up the parking lot around 4:00, but with traffic coming down Route 17, it’s anyone’s guess what time we’ll actually get there. Weather looks like rain for now, but we’ll make the best of it, no matter what. Hope to see you there.

With the 2010 College Football Season quickly approaching us, I thought it might be a good time to start thinking about the various spots we will spend our Saturdays watching our favorite teams battle it out. Anyone who is a Michigan Wolverines fan, most likely already has this all figured out, so I thought I would share our location for this Saturday’s tailgate.
As of right now, it looks like we will only be making it to one game this season, with slim hopes of getting out to Penn State for the Prime Time showdown, we’re going to make this weekend awesome. We will be visiting a few other tailgates throughout the day, but feel free to stop by and say hello, and pickup one of the new “Our Stadium” t-shirts. They’ll be available for $15/ea or 2 for $20, sizes Large & X-Large available.
We are really looking forward to this trip, and spent most of this past weekend getting all the gear ready, and will start packing the car Wednesday night, for our roll-out around 2:00 Thursday afternoon. Stay up to date with our Twitter, Facebook & Foursquare updates all weekend. We hope to see you there!!
